So Much Christmas Fun

We were so excited for Christmas this year because we couldn't wait to see how much Jake would enjoy all the festivities. We were not disappointed! Below are some pictures from the things we did leading up to Christmas.
Big Tree Plantation
We had a great time at Big Tree Plantation picking out our Christmas tree. We rode the hay wagon out to the field and carefully analyzed about 100 trees only to decide on getting one that was already cut. Jake got to see real reindeer and sit on Santa's lap. He liked Santa better from the safety of his Daddy's arms.
Lebanon Christmas Parade
We went to Lebanon's annual Christmas Parade. Jake loved seeing all the horse-drawn carriages go by. His favorites were the little horses that ran by with bells and lights.

Baking Christmas Cookies
Jake had a great time "helping" make Christmas cookies. He actually got flour all over his face. His favorite part was "testing" the batter!
Christmas Eve
We went to the Golden Lamb for dinner with Grammy, Poppy, and Uncle Jarrod and then opened presents. It was so fun. I got lots of fun toys...a sled just my size, my first baseball glove, a new phone, and a truck in my stocking that is just like Daddy's!

Christmas Day
On Christmas morning, Jake woke up to find that Santa had visited our house. He had so much fun discovering his new toys. It was so fun to watch! We went to my parent's for our traditional Christmas brunch (yum!) and presents. Jake got a great kitchen and grill set from Mimi and Grandpa. He spent hours pretending to be a chef! On Christmas evening, we have friends and family at my parents and have a delicious meal together.
