Matt was able to come home for about a week, and he, Lindsay, Josh, Jake, and I had a great time visiting the zoo. We were excited about feeding the giraffe's at the new exhibit, but the giraffes aren't quite ready for that. They are still getting used to their new environment and are being trained to be fed by people. It was still fun to see them. We enjoyed seeing the baby gorilla and the elephants getting a bath. Other highlights were riding the train and the merry-go-round.

Happy 18th Birthday, Aunt Christina!
For Christina's 18th Birthday we took a cruise on the Ohio River. It was a beautiful night, and it was fun to see the Red's in action at Great American Ball Park from the water.

Take me out to the ball game!
Last night we took Jake to the Red's game for Mike's Father's Day gift. We had great seats in the 2nd row just past 3rd base and right behind the ball boy. Jake kept saying to him "I want ball please...I ready to catch ball!" It was fun being right in the action. Jake was a little sleepy and asked to go home in the 4th inning, but after a little ice cream he was ready to stick it out until the end. It paid off because a foul ball came right by us and the ball boy got it and found Jake to give it to him as all these other fans were begging for the ball! He was thrilled to say the least!!!
Waiting patiently for a ball
"I'm ready to catch ball!"
"I got ball!"

Father's Day
On Father's Day we celebrated at Grammy and Poppy's house with Mimi & Grandpa, Uncle Josh, Aunt Christina, and Gigi and Pa-Pa. It was a good time. Grandpa (Pepa) had so much fun, he fell out of his chair! I had fun playing with trains. I love my Daddy and all my Grandpas. I'm a lucky boy!!!

Toddler Time
These are pictures from Jake's last Toddler Time class that he did with Grammy, his good friend, Ethan, and Ethan's Mammaw. They had a lot of fun together and still meet up on Thursdays sometimes for a yummy lunch at the Ice Cream Parlor.
32 weeks!
This pregnancy is flying by. I am going to the doctor now every 2 weeks. He says I am perfectly healthy and measuring just right. We still aren't set on a name, but we have a few we really like. This baby is quite the mover and shaker - she kicks so hard at times it really startles me! Maybe that is a good sign she'll be a soccer star! Here is what babycenter.com has to say about her right now: By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, she'll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb. She now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). Her skin is becoming soft and smooth as she plumps up in preparation for birth.

IOP 2008
It has been insanely busy for us so sorry for the lack of posts. Lots of catching up to do. Below are a few pictures from our wonderful vacation to the Isle of Palms in SC. We moved right before our trip and came home to trying to get settled into our new place. Well, we just found out Friday night that our rental home has a pending contract on it so we have to move again! We can talk about this later, lets think happy thoughts....back to vacation! We had a great time. Jake absolutely loved the beach and was so content just playing in the sand. He would get so tired from the sun and playing he asked everyday to go "night-night". Now that is tired!
